New artiste Yaw Tog has been recognised as the April ‘BET Amplified International’ Artiste of the Month.
This comes barely two weeks after he won the Hip Hop song of the year award with his song ‘Sore’ which features Kumerican acts O’Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie and Jay Bahd.
Following this, BET International will be posting more works, interview and others of Yaw Tog across their social media platforms in the month of April.

Yaw Tog, born Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, is a Senior High School student who rose to fame in 2020 when the Kumerica movement was at its peak.
He won the hearts of many Ghanaians when he relased his hit song Sore which introduced the world to Asaka, Kumericans take on drill music.
The song featured other rap artistes from Kumasi namely O’Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie & Jay Bahd.
The song became so popular he did a remix of it with UK based rapper Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur.
He has released his debut album 'Time' and has been nominated five times in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
'Sore' has three nominations namely, Most Popular Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year and Best Hiphop Song.
Yaw Tog was nominated for Best Hiplife/Hiphop Artiste and Best New Artiste.
