It was the perfect matchday for Asante Kotoko as they picked up three points with their closest rivals dropping points.
It wasn’t all rosy for the Porcupines who had to come from behind for the second consecutive week.
Mariano Barreto’s side trailed midway through the first half after a powerful strike by Dennis Korsah-Akoumah from distance.
Kotoko responded getting an equalizer through Emmanuel Gyamfi right on the stroke of half time.

The captain was at hand again in the second half, this time benefiting from a goalkeeping error to slot home the winner.
The result leaves Kotoko four points clear at the top of the table.

Great Olympics had opportunity to close the gap and were in the driving seat after racing into a two goal lead with goals from Maxwell Abbey Quaye and Abdul Munasiru.
Aduana responded by scoring three goals in the last 30 minutes to dent the title hopes of Oly Dade.
