The Center for African Legal Studies of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Law School, is set to hold its ‘Africa Trade Roundtable”.
Today's forum is themed, “Towards Zero Barriers: AfCFTA and Regional Trade Unions.”
The event, which will be moderated by Nicola Soekoe, a socio-economic rights researcher from South Africa, will be addressed by learned resource persons including; Director of the Labour Resouce and Research Institute of Namibia; Dr Michael Uusiku Akuupa and Director of the Labour Policy and Research Institute of Traders’ Union Congress of Ghana; Dr Kwabena Nyarko Otoo.
The others are; Executive Director of East Africa Trade Union Confederation; Caroline Khamati Mugalla, and the Ag. Executive Director of National Labour and Economic Development Institute; Hameda Deedat.
The forum promises to be educative and informative. The time is 3:00pm.
