The Ministry of Roads and Highways has announced that parts of the N1 and N2 Highways will experience disruptions in traffic flow on October 16, 2021 from 10 am to 2:00 pm.
In a statement signed by the Acting Chief Executive, Ing Christian Nti, the Ministry said the disruption in flow of vehicular traffic is to “enable GRIDCo commence work on the second double circuit line which traverses the N1 and N2 Highways.”
According to the statement, parts of the highway to be affected are;
N1: Tema – Aflao Highway, before the traffic light at T.T Brothers junction.
N2: Tema – Akosombo Highway, near the newly constructed overhead walkway.
“Motorists are kindly advised to follow the traffic diversion signs to be placed at the various sections on the N1 and N2,” portions of the release indicated.
The Ministry therefore apologized to road users for any inconvenience caused.
