Skyy Football Club will lock horns with Tema Youth in the final of the maiden edition of the Division One League Super Cup.
Both teams recorded wins in their semi-final games against Accra Lions and Samartex respectively to book a place in the grand finale.
Zone III runners up, Tema Youth, faced Samartex in the first semi-final at the Madina Astro Turf on Wednesday morning, October 20.
A brace for Emmanuel Owusu in the first half ensured Ibrahim Giyasu’s strike for Samartex was only a consolation on the day.
All three goals came in the opening 45 minutes of the encounter with the second half seeing no goal.
In the other fixture, Baba Hamadu scored an extra-time winner for Skyy FC, who advance to the last hurdle ahead of competition favourites, Accra Lions.
There was no goal to separate the two teams at the end of regular time despite some end-to-end stuff from both clubs.
However, Hamadu scored for the Zone II side nine minutes into the extra time to seal the needed victory for Skyy FC.
The third-place and grand final of the eight-team tournament is slated for Saturday, October 23.
