Ghana's youngest musician, eight-year-old Kalai Nana Qwaachi popularly known as Fotocopy has released a new song, 'School Dey Be' featuring renowned musician Shatta Wale.
Fotocopy says he was overexcited and could not sleep when he got to know Shatta Wale will be part of the song. "I watch him on TV and I see him on the internet so when I heard he will be part of my second song, I was very happy, I couldn't even sleep".
The class two pupil released his first song 'Megye Me Dow' six months ago and it enjoyed massive airplay on mainstream radio and streaming on various online music platforms. The song has close to 500,000 views on YouTube now.
Fotocopy's second and latest song, 'School Dey Bee' is a sequel to 'Megye Me Dow'. Whilst 'Megye Me Dow' addresses the issue of child neglect, 'School Dey Bee' will be used to promote his upcoming campaign to get children back to the classroom after the long Covid break.
Many of such children have become used to making money on the streets at the peril of their education.

The Fotocopy Education and Talent Tour will see the young music star touring schools, churches, communities and the streets to propagate the message about the importance of education.
He will also share exercise books, educational materials during the tour.
