Cameroon is likely to be without the services of midfielder Jean Junior Onana ahead of next month's Africa Cup of Nations.
The 21-year-old suffered an injury during Bordeaux's 3-2 home loss to Lille in midweek in the French top-flight.
The youngster was named in head coach, Toni Canceicao's final 28-man squad on Wednesday as they put finishing touches to their preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
With two goals and an assist to his name, Onana was expected to play a big role for the Indomitable Lions at the competition which starts next month, but his injury means he will need to be omitted from the squad.
Onana is reported to be out on the sidelines for three to one month after undergoing an MRI.
He becomes the latest player who looks set to miss out on the continental showpiece through injury with Mohammed Kudus and Victor Osimhen's also doubtful for the tournament.
