Abigail Kwarteng and Rose Yeboah of Ghana failed to win a medal in the women's high jump at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Having cleared the height of 1.85, Kwarteng was in pole position to clinch a medal for Team Ghana.
She went ahead to clear the 1.91 bar but the height of 1.92 was a difficult ask of her as she missed out on a place in the medal spot.
Yeboah, on the other hand, had a personal best as she cleared the height of 1.85 but struggled with the 1.89 bar.
While Kwarteng placed fifth in the standings, Yeboah could only manage a seventh place.
