The Press Secretary to the Office of the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Richard Darko has been honoured as one of the Top 30 Achievers of Coventry University in the past 10 years for his outstanding accomplishments in education capacity building.
According to the citation given to him, Mr. Darko has over the years contributed exceptionally through devotion and professionalism towards the progress of his alma mater.
It reads, "We recognise you as one of the Top 30 Achievers after a decade of Partnership between Coventry University and GCTU in education capacity building.."
Meanwhile, Mr. Darko after receiving the all-important honourable plaque expressed his profound gratitude to the school authorities and assured the school of his continues support always.

He took the opportunity to call on everyone to try and brighten the corner where he finds himself for a better future.
"I am indeed grateful for this great honor done me. I want to assure the school of my continuous support always. I want to urge everyone to always do its best to brighten the corner he or she finds himself or herself..", he said.
Mr. Darko is a highly- motivated fast learner who possesses good leadership qualities backed by strong organisational skills coupled with the ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a multi- tasking environment with numerous and competing deadlines.
