The Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyerematen has celebrated former President, John Agyekum Kufuor on the occasion of his 84th birthday celebration.
Alan Kyerematen praised his former boss for the outstanding life and political career of former President Kufuor, describing him as "an inspirer, a mentor and a patriot".
In a message marking the 84th birthday of the 'Gentle Giant ', Mr Kyerematen, shared warm and pleasant memories of his close working and personal relationship, over the decades, with the former President.
Social media has been flooded with messages celebrating the former President as an outstanding statesman having led Ghana from 2001 to 2009.
Alan Kyerematen describes the 84-year-old statesman as a 'Great Inspiration' and a living legend.
Political pundits and historians have openly tagged Alan as a progeny of Kufuor in terms of political transition and succession.
A short message with accompanying visuals on Mr Kyerematen reads, "Special Happy Birthday wishes to His Excellency, Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, the Gentle Giant. You are always a great inspiration, a living legend."
