betPawa Ghana Premier League side, Medeama Sporting Club, have parted ways with head coach David Duncan just four months after his appointment.
Duncan penned a deal with the Yellow and Mauve side back in September prior to the start of the 2022/23 season after Umar Rabi had prepared the team during the pre-season.
However, the club has announced thats “circumstances” means they cannot continue their working relationship and have to end it.
"Medeama Sporting Club and Head Coach David Duncan today parted company on mutual ground, a club statement on Tuesday read.
"Duncan joined the Mauve and Yellow in September 2022, signing a one-year contract.
"However, circumstances mean both parties have reached an agreement to go separate ways after four months.
"The experienced gaffer supervised five Ghana Premier League matches during his tenure.
“On behalf of everyone at Medeama SC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to David Duncan for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him well in his future endeavour.
"There will be no further comment."
In his time as the head coach of the team, Duncan headed five games, picking just one winning and losing the other four in the league.
He was also in charge as the club exited the MTN FA Cup at the expense of Karela United.
