Mohammed Kudus was again on the scoresheet for Ajax as they came back from a first-half deficit to beat RKC Waalwijk.
The 22-year-old, after his goal in the Dutch Cup game in midweek, added to his season's tally as John Heitinga's side recorded a 3-1 victory at home.
The away side got the opener in the 17th minute of the game through Mats Seuntjens as Ajax managed just one shot on target in the opening half.
However, back from recess, Heitinga's side played differently from their early half display with Brian Brobbey coming off the bench to grab the equaliser for Ajax.
Fellow substitute Calvin Bassey set up Jurrien Timber to give Ajax a 2-1 lead after 78 minutes played at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
With just nine minutes until full-time, Kudus registered his name on the scoresheet, latching onto a cross from Steven Berghuis to wrap up the win before going off in additional time.
The Ghanaian was named the Man of the Match for the second time in a row at the end of the game, with his goal tally now standing at 14 for the club this season.
