Charterhouse, the organisers of the Annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, have announced the date of the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Tagged as Ghana’s biggest music night, the 24th VGMA will be held on Saturday, 13th May, 2023, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
Earlier this year, musicians were asked to file for nominations for the various categories.
Some of the categories include Artiste of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Afrobeats song of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year, among others.
Last year, Lynx Entertainment signee KiDi won the Artiste of the Year award at the VGMAs.
Being the highest award for the scheme, a lot of projections have been made regarding who wins the most prestigious slot in this year’s award.
While some have mentioned, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Camidoh and Sarkodie, others have also tipped Piesie Esther to cause a stir in this year's awards.
