Head coach of Bechem United, Kassim Mingle, says the ball boys at Akoon Park were the reasons behind his team's defeat to Medeama.
The two teams met on match day 30 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League with the Hunters travelling to Tarkwa for the fixture.
Sitting in second place before the game, Bechem were looking to keep the pressure on league leaders Aduana FC but failed to get anything from the game as they suffered a 2-1 loss.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Mingle said the home team adopted delaying tactics which led to their defeat.
"In the second half, we played only 25 minutes. The 20 minutes were wasted time. We were playing [but] we couldn't get the football to play," he said.
"They packed all the ball boys in one place and when the ball goes out we have to wait for some time before another ball comes for us to play. This is not football."
The defeat to Medeama sees Bechem now drop to third on the league table with the Yellow and Mauve side taking their place in second.
