Netflix has released the trailer for the new season of its African reality series Young, Famous & African.
The show, set to return on May 19, 2023, will see some of the beloved casts from season one return including Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Tuface Idibia, Khanyi Mbau, Diamond Platnumz, Nadia Nakai and others.
The fiery stars from all walks of life on the African continent put their lives and love on display for the world to see, and this season is no different.
Tensions rise and friendships are put to the ultimate test as new faces Bonang Matheba, Luis Munana and Fantana show up and show off in the sneak peek of the hit series, and promise to enthral audiences with their inclusion into the A-list crew.
With a blow-up between besties, Swanky Jerry and Annie Macaulay-Idibia and a catfight between Zari Hassan and Fantana, (fueled by Nadia Nakai, of course) over Diamond Platnumz, the tea is piping hot! Andile Ncube faces his own dilemmas, with the inclusion of his former partners, Sebabatso Mothibi and Rosette Ncwana, while Naked DJ and Kayleigh Schwark present a united front.
Is it all as it seems? On 19 May 2023, this will be answered.
Produced by Urban Brew Studios & Apop Media, created by Peace Hyde, Martin Asare Amankwa and directed by Wesley Masilo Makgamatha
Famous & African Season 2 executive producers are Peace Hyde, Martin Asare Amankwa and Adelaide Joshua-Hill while Shahir Chundra is the showrunner.
