An Accra-bound train from Tema collided with a taxicab at Alajo in Accra in the early hours of Thursday, May 25.
The taxicab driver narrowly escaped death in the ghastly incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the taxi driver had his vehicle trapped on the rail tracks after making a swift attempt to cross the train's path at Alajo while it was approaching at a high speed.
The oncoming train then smashed the vehicle and pushed it off the rail tracks.
The collision resulted in a minor damage to the train, however, none of the passengers sustained injuries.
A video of the aftermath of the incident sighted by myjoyonline shows severe damage to the driver's side of the taxi.
