A football and marketing executive has launched Cosmos Football Club with the vision of nurturing talents into professional footballers in the Volta Region.
The Club, which was formed in 2020 and is based in Ho, would focus on producing talents to play in the U13, U15, and U17 of Cosmos FC.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cosmos Football Club, Emil Atando, said the club would scout across the country for young talents who would exhibit the capabilities of growing into professionals.

This he said in effect would promote the growth of football in the Volta Region and contribute to shaping the country’s football fortunes.
“Cosmos Football Club is in existence to serve as a platform and a springboard for young football talents in Ho and its environs. I want to say a big thank you to Mozzart Bet Ghana Limited for donating 2 sets of jerseys and tracksuits to the club", he said.
The Marketing Manager of Mozzart Bet Ghana Limited, Naana Lexis Akosua Obenewaa Opoku-Agyemang, said they were delighted to play a donor role in clothing players of the club and help in its development.
"We are very happy to partner with Cosmos Football Club as donors in performing our Corporate Social Responsibility”, she said.
The Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Divine Bosson, assured of his outfit's support to the development of Cosmos Football Club.
"As the Mayor of Ho, I will give my support to the team", he said.

The launch also witnessed the unveiling of Cosmos Football Club jerseys ahead of the upcoming Juvenile League in Ho.
