Barcelona have confirmed goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has put pen to paper on a new contract until 2028.
Promoted to vice-captain this summer, Ter Stegen remains one of Barcelona's most important players and has been rewarded with a new long-term deal to tie himself to the club for the next five seasons.
Reports elsewhere state Ter Stegen, whose previous deal had two years left to run, has agreed to lower his salary in exchange for a longer contract.
Ter Stegen joined Barcelona in 2014 and has gone on to make 379 appearances for the club in all competitions, leaving him fourth on the club's list of all-time appearances for a goalkeeper.

This season, the Germany international is expected to overtake Antoni Ramallets (387) and Andoni Zubizarreta (410). Victor Valdes sits atop the charts with 535 outings.
Barcelona still have four players in the final years of their contracts: Sergi Roberto, Marcos Alonso, Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal.
Balde is understood to have already agreed the terms of a lengthy extension, while 16-year-old Yamal is also expected to put pen to paper on a senior contract imminently.
As for Alonso, the former Chelsea defender signed an extension earlier this year to commit himself to Barcelona until 2024 but the left-back has not yet been registered in the Barcelona squad amid concerns over the club's finances.
Joao Cancelo is expected to join on loan from Manchester City in the coming days which could further complicate the attempts to register Alonso.
