Ghana youngster, Ernest Nuamah, is set to work under a new manager at Lyon after the sacking of Laurent Blanc.
The French Ligue 1 side announced parting ways with the 57-year-old on Tuesday.
Lyon are bottom of the French top flight after four games, drawing only one game and conceding ten goals.
Ernest Nuamah signed for Lyon during the just-concluded summer transfer window on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old forward made his debut for Lyon in the last game before the international break, ending in a 4-1 defeat against PSG, a result that has contributed to the sacking of Blanc.
Nuamah is currently with the Black Stars preparing for the international friendly against Liberia on Tuesday.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate came off the bench to score the winner for Ghana in the final qualifying game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
