Joy FM will be hosting the 4th edition of its thought-leadership forum on arts, tourism and culture on November 18, 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
This year’s programme, dubbed ‘EVENT VENUES, SECURITY AND SAFETY’ aims to assess the operations of event centres, challenges faced by event vendors, and ensuring safety at event centres, ahead of the Yuletide which is Ghana’s events-laden period on the annual calendar.
According to the Lead Producer of Joy FM, Philip Nai, this forum is necessitated by the various hiccups associated with many events held in the country.
“We at Joy FM believe that the safety and security of events are paramount. These give patrons comfortability while they enjoy the various activities. What we seek to achieve with this edition of Showbiz Roundtable is also to let people who attend events know some basic things they need to know when they patronise such events,” he said.
The panel and other resource persons for the programme will be gleaned from the showbiz industry, insurance sector and the security field.
The previous edition of ‘Showbiz Roundtable’ explored the dynamics of sponsorship in the creative space. It offered the platform for industry stakeholders to interact with corporate Ghana on what to do to get sponsorship for their events and other entertainment activities.
‘Showbiz Roundtable’ is moderated by Kwame Dadzie, the host of Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM and Joy FM’s Twitter (X) Spaces, Joy Entertainment Unpacked.
