Celebrated Ghanaian playwright and event organiser, James Ebo Whyte, will be sharing the wealth of knowledge he has acquired through event planning at the 4th edition of Joy FM's 'Showbiz Roundtable'.
The thought-leadership programme on arts tourism and culture will be held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on November 18, 2023.
The 4th edition of Showbiz Roundtable, dubbed ‘EVENTS, VENUES AND SAFETY’ aims at assessing the operations of event centres, challenges faced by event vendors, the safety consciousness of event patrons and the general precaution checklist of organizing events in general ahead of the Yuletide.
Uncle Ebow Whyte, as he is popularly known, will be joining Sefa Gohoho, the CEO of Untamed Empire and Solomon Lartey, President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana.
Others are Richard Osei, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asuavo Security Company Limited and Kojo Poku, an event organiser at Big Ideaz Consult.
James Ebo Whyte is a playwright, author, and a motivational speaker. But he simply describes himself as a storyteller.
He began writing plays in 1975, a profession he got into by accident, and has since then successfully written and directed more than 51 plays. He is Ghana's most successful playwright and has, through his works, revived theatre in Ghana, after its long dormancy.
He was recently awarded a Cultural and Tourism Icon by the Ghana Tourism Authority and a GAW Achievement Award by the Ghana Association of Writers.
As an author, Uncle Ebo Whyte has authored three books - THE DEAL, THE PERFECT COUPLE AND LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX.
