The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has assured Ghanaians that if elected as president, he will serve all citizens impartially.
Dr Bawumia emphasised that he will not engage in selective governance, and every Ghanaian will benefit equally from the nation's resources.
Addressing the people of the Kusaug Traditional Area on Tuesday, December 12, during his inaugural visit after being chosen as the NPP's flagbearer, Dr Bawumia reiterated his commitment to being a unifying leader.
He called on all Ghanaians to place their trust in him and vote for him massively in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
“Your Royal Majesty, I am running to become President of Ghana and I will be a President for all. I will be a President for Ewes, Ashantis, Kusasis, Mamprusis, Dagombas, Frafras, Konkombas, Bonos, Fantes, and all tribes in Ghana. I will continue to do my best to bring peace between our people.”
Dr Bawumia emphasised his commitment to aggressive job creation efforts to ensure meaningful engagement for the Ghanaian youth.
“Our youth need jobs, we need education, we need healthcare, we need roads. We should be fighting for the needs of our youth and not fight with each other.”
