Former Gender Minister, Otiko Afisa Djaba says she is on a mission to empower Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to ensure their meaningful contribution to national development.
Through the Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation, Madam Otiko gathered PwDs from across the country at the Ability Fair, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and products to the world.

The Ability Fair exhibited a diverse range of products crafted by these resilient PwDs, determined not to let their circumstances hinder their progress.

At a time when many persons with disabilities face the challenge of resorting to begging, participants at the Ability Fair seized the opportunity presented by the Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation to improve their lives.

Executive Director, Otiko Afisa Djaba expressed her vision, stating, "We want to put an end to the phenomenon where PwDs beg on the streets. We want them to lead independent lives. We're grateful to the Ghana Tourism Authority and Ghana Beyond The Return initiative for their support."

She added, "Due to popular request, we've extended the Ability Fair until the 24th of December so everyone can visit, appreciate, and purchase the items on display."
