The management of the Ho Teaching Hospital in the Volta Region says measures are in place to undertake some projects in 2024 to enhance service delivery.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital, Dr. John Tampuori hinted at the construction of a pharmaceutical production unit and family healthcare center as major projects earmarked for 2024.
He announced this at the hospital’s Nine Lessons and Carols Service, held at its premises in the Volta Regional capital.
Dr. Tampuori commended the staff for their dedication and commitment to providing quality healthcare to clients, making the hospital a preferred destination for care seekers.
He stated that the provision of CT scan services at the hospital has improved investigation of medical conditions and enhanced treatment.

According to him, his outfit continues to provide uninterrupted dialysis services although some teaching hospitals were reported to be struggling to meet the demands of patients in some parts of the country.
He added that demand for dialysis in the facility had shot up, with clients traveling from across the country and the West African Sub Region for the renal replacement therapy.
Dr. Tampuori acknowledged the fact that the hospital as a human institution may have a few flaws but assured of management’s commitment to rectifying such flaws.
“There are some few flaws in the system, especially with regards to the way we communicate with our clients and clients’ relatives. This I know will soon be a thing of the past”, he stated.

The Nine Lessons and Carols Service brought together staff, patients, and the local community who celebrated the year and gave thanks to the Lord for guiding them through the year.
It featured the reading of the 9 lessons from the Holy Book and some musical performances that highlighted the true essence of Christmas.
