Set up - check. Vendors - check. Families - check. This year’s boxing day promises to be exciting as hundreds of patrons troop to the Aburi Botanical Gardens for the party of the year - the Joy FM Family Party in the Park.
It may only be noon but there’s music blasting through speakers as some patrons walk around the garden, admiring nature while others are setting up to have a picnic with their families.
With Joy FM’s Lexis Bill hosting and Izzy at the turn tables, patrons are treated to great music. For those who have already set up, they are already taking on the many board game challenges available.
Adults who feared they would be left out are not missing the fun. From pool tables to daddy’s corner where they could have fun or simply sit around chatting, there’s something for everybody.
There are still so many activities to look forward to including a treasure hunt, air hockey, baseball, target shooting and a painting class, available for aspiring artists.
Musicians Efya, Kwabena Kwabena, and the Kwan Pa Band are geared up to entertain patrons with fantastic music to make the experience unforgettable.
