Heart of Lions picked up their first win of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League following their victory over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
The newly promoted side recorded a 2-0 win over the Blues at home to end a run of 14 games without a win since promotion.
Ebenezer Abban and Nana Oppong scored the goals for the Kpando-based side.
At the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, Hearts of Oak also recorded a 1-0 win over Bechem United with Martin Karikari scoring a late winner for the Phobians.
The Hunters were reduced to 10 men in the dying minutes of the game with Aaron Essel being sent off.
Earlier on Saturday, Steven Mukwala hit a brace for Asante Kotoko as they beat Bofoakwa Tano away from home.
The Ugandan striker has now scored in five of his last six games in the Ghana Premier League.
