Ghana booked a place at the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following their emphatic second-leg win over Ivory Coast on Friday, February 9.
A 6-2 win away in the second meeting saw Ghana record a 6-2 win to claim a spot at the main competition having lost 4-0 in the first leg in Cape Coast.
The scoreline meant the two teams were tied at 6-6 at the end of the two games.
However, Ghana qualified for the tournament to be staged in Morocco on the away goal rule.
The tournament is set to be staged in Morocco from April 8-17, 2024.
The top three teams from the AFCON will seal qualification to the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan as the CAF representatives.
The Futsal team will be making a first appearance in the Futsal AFCON since 1996 when they suffered defeat to Egypt in the final.
