Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has made a timely return to training ahead of the team's UEFA Champions League match against FC Porto.
Partey has been missing in action since tearing his hamstring in October 2023.
Although he recovered at the beginning of the year, the deputy Black Stars captain suffered a set back even before he could return to full match fitness.
Partey was named in Ghana's 55-man provisional squad for the 2023 AFCON to be staged in Cote d'Ivoire.
However, the injuries kept him out of Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations campaign in the West African country.
However, he could well make up for lost time with significant contributions to Mikel Arteta's team in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
