Ghanaian entrepreneur, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum says she has been nothing but honest to Ghanaians regarding the results of her Guinness World Records attempt.
According to her, she lost her login details to her GWR account for which reason she could not break the news of the outcome of her attempt.
In an interview on the Breakfast Show on GTV, she asserted that she lodged a complaint to Guinness, urging them to review her account because she still could not access it and needed the official documents to make a statement.

"If I have to do this a million times to get it right, I will do it - if I really want to - I can with or without anybody's permission. So why will I hide the result from the public, no way. I am not the type that will come crying. It is like you are looking for public sympathy."
She also emphasised that Guinness refunding her is not an indication of them stating she couldn't break the record or that she failed.

Regarding the issue of the @GWR’s refund, the entrepreneur insists that her bank hasn’t notified her about… pic.twitter.com/rBkTqLT7rQ
"Refund is not is not a confirmation of a success or unsuccessful attempt, even if they refunded me on the 8th of February, I did not receive anything of that sort," she added.
Afua admitted that many Ghanaians were emotionally invested and anticipated positive results for which reason they were sad that they did not hear the results from her.
