The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and the leadership of the 2024 national campaign team have engaged in discussions with the party's parliamentary candidates in 'orphan' constituencies.
During his address to the candidates, Dr Bawumia emphasised the pivotal role of the parliamentary candidates in securing victory within their respective constituencies for the NPP.
He highlighted the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led government, asserting that the candidates should find it easy to campaign given the government's strong performance.
Dr Bawumia expressed confidence that, with the right enthusiasm and approach towards campaigning, the party will emerge victorious in the upcoming December general elections.
‘We have a solid track record and a good campaign message, and I am well prepared to lead an effective and spirited campaign."
The Vice President also said, "I have observed first-hand, the enthusiasm and readiness of the Party’s Parliamentary Candidates, and I am confident that the Party will win the 2024 general elections and also secure a clear parliamentary majority."
