FC Samartex extended their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table following their win over Great Olympics on Saturday afternoon.
Kwasi Fosu's late strike at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena was enough for the Timber Gianst on matchday 28 of the top flight.
The win sends them seven points clear at the top of the league table following Nations FC's 0-0 draw at home against Bibiani GoldStars.
In the top liner of the weekend, Asante Kotoko became the first club to score a goal at the Akoon Park against Medeama SC in the league this season.
However, Steven Mukwala's goal was cancelled out by Diawisie Taylor's goal from the spot in the 57th minute to level the score for the Tarkwa-based side.
The game ended 1-1 which sees the Porcupine Warriors drop to 11th on the table.
Bechem United and Heart of Lions also played out a 1-1 draw at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park while Karela United beat Aduana FC in Dormaa.
On Friday, Legon Cities recorded a win in an enthralling five-goal thriller against Berekum Chelsea in Dawu.
