The ECOWAS Court of Justice is set to gather judges of the court, top legal scholars, international lawyers, leading civil society practitioners, policymakers, and leading figures in the various member countries at its annual conference in the Sierra Leonean capital Freetown for a 4-day conference starting from Monday the 13th of May 2024.
The keynote address to the conference will be delivered by Prof. Kofi Abotsi, the Dean of the UPSA Law School.
His address is expected to focus on popularising the work of the court in the various member countries through the process of engagement.
Prof. Abotsi who is also a leading practitioner with over two decades of legal practice experience has in the past spoken at the said conference and will by his keynote, lead conversations around the conference theme on engaging stakeholders as a means of maximising the justice goods delivered by the court.
