A Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Professor Michael Kpessa-Whyte has called on the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) to make a public statement over the alleged conversation between Richard Jakpa and the Attorney General (AG), Godfred Yeboah Dame over the ambulance trial.
The political scientist and member of the National Democratic Congress who spoke to Adom News, says the GBA ought to make its position clear on whether or not there are ethical breaches by the AG in the recording.

Prof. Kpessa-Whyte argues that the GBA‘s statement will help the public, especially if the alleged recording of the conversation between the Attorney General and the third accused in the case may affect the outcome of the case.
Minority Leader, Cassiel Ato Forson and Richard Jakpa are standing trial for allegedly causing financial loss to the state in relation to the procurement of some ambulances for the state.
