The Supreme Court is currently hearing an application filed by media personality and lawyer, Richard Dela Sky and Researcher, Dr Amanda Odoi against the Parliament of Ghana and the Attorney General regarding the passage of the controversial anti-gay bill.
The two are challenging the constitutionality of the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill. They argue that the bill breaches several provisions of the 1992 constitution and violates the country’s laws and the fundamental human rights guaranteed by the constitution.
