The Conventions People’s Party (CPP) has opened nominations for the election of its presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections.
In a statement issued on Monday, the party indicated that aspirants can pick up nomination forms from Wednesday, July 24 to Friday, August 2, 2024.
The aspirants are directed to pick up nomination forms from the party secretariat at a cost of GH¢20,000.
The statement added that "Comrades who paid during the 2023 nomination period do not have to pay again, but will have to pick the Forms. The Nomination Fee is GH¢300,000."
The party has announced that the vetting of flagbearer aspirants will take place from Tuesday, August 6, 2024, to Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
The party has scheduled the campaign period from Friday, August 9, 2024, to Friday, August 23, 2024, while the flagbearership election will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
