Dutch side Ajax have reached an agreement with Southampton for the services of Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The agreement is for the Ghana international to join the Eredivisie side on loan for the 2024/25 season after falling down the pecking order at Southampton.
Kamaldeen Sulemana struggled for game time at Southampton last season under Russel Martin while injuries have also limited his playing time at the South Coast club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Ghanaian could be on the move to the Netherlands after a verbal agreement was reached between Ajax and the Saints over a loan deal for the Ghanaian.
The deal is, however, dependent on Steven Bergwijn leaving the Dutch club with Saudi Professional League side Al Ittihad looking to sign him.
Kamaldeen has missed the first three games of the Premier League season following Southampton's promotion due to injury.
