Former President, John Mahama has promised to build an ultramodern market for the people of Kintampo.
According to him, this move will help boost the economic activities in the area.
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) made this promise while addressing the party faithful as part of his four-day tour of the Bono East Region.
"We will rebuild the market and make it an ultramodern one," he said on Monday.
During the tour, Mr Mahama urged the electorate to vote out the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming election.
He added that the Kintampo roads are also high on his agenda if he wins the December poll.
