Ghanaian youngster Clinton Duodu has sealed a move to Cypriot outfit Apollon Limassol from Bechem United.
The 19-year-old joins the club in a deal which will see him stay in Cyprus until 2027 after leaving the Ghana Premier League outfit.
Since bursting onto the scene as a 15-year-old, Duodu has been the centre of significant attention as one of the most promising young players in Ghana’s top flight.
While he has primarily played as a right winger, the teenager has also been deployed in several other roles due to his versatile ability.
The move follows a trend of rising Ghanaian stars leaving Ghana in the just-ended transfer window with David Oduro of Accra Lions and Abdul Aziz Issah of Dreams FC recently joining FC Barcelona’s youth teams recently.
During his time at Bechem United, Duodu made 96 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. He has also represented Ghana's Under-20 team, the Black Satellites.
