The New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Ho Central and the current Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, Divine Bosson, has vowed to lead an intensive grassroots campaign to secure victory for the party in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
After officially filing his nomination to contest on the NPP ticket, Bosson pledged to engage in a "bed-to-bed, door-to-door, market-to-market" approach, reaching every corner of the constituency to share the message of the NPP's achievements and vision.
He emphasized that his strategy would involve direct interaction with residents, aiming to convert the traditionally NDC-leaning constituency into a stronghold for the NPP.

Speaking to a gathering of party supporters and local media, Bosson declared, “I am a son of this soil. I understand the challenges and aspirations of the people of Ho Central. My mission is to bring the needed change and development that our people deserve. I will be relentless in this campaign; we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the good works of the NPP are recognized.”
Bosson, who has served as the MCE for Ho Central, highlighted the developmental projects and policies initiated under the NPP government, urging constituents to support the party for continuity and progress.
He cited improvements in infrastructure, education, and health services as evidence of the government's commitment to the people of the Volta Region, areas he promises to expand upon if elected as a Member of Parliament.
He urged residents to give the NPP a chance, stating, “The NPP has shown that it can deliver, and it is time for Ho Central to be part of that progress. I am committed to working tirelessly for the betterment of our community. We need a representative in Parliament who truly understands our needs and will fight for them.”
Bosson’s campaign also aims to rally support for the NPP’s presidential candidate, emphasizing that a collective effort is necessary to ensure the party's success in both the parliamentary and presidential races. “Our goal is not just about winning the parliamentary seat but also ensuring that our presidential candidate receives massive support from Ho Central. Together, we can make history by turning this constituency into an NPP stronghold,” he stated.
