Dreamz Ladies FC made history over the weekend when they beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the final of the 2024 Women's Premier Super Cup.
Sarah Nyarko and Stella Nyamekye scored for the Dreamers as they became the first team from the Northern Zone of the Women's Premier League to win the competition with a 2-1 victory at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
Sarah opened the scoring against the Nana Mma in the 14th minute of the game to put Dreamz ahead.
Ampem Darkoa had opportunities to grab the equaliser before the break but fluffed their lines and went into the break trailing.

Dreamz gained control again after recess and were awarded a penalty after the ball came off the hand of an Ampem Darkoa player.
Stella Nyamekye stepped up to take the resulting advantage and successfully converted the spot kick to make it 2-0.
Last season's Women's Premier League finalist grabbed a lifeline late in the game to make it 2-1 but couldn't convert the chances presented to them in the latter part of the game.
The game ended 2-1 with Dreamz Ladies being crowned champions of the fourth edition of the Women's Premier Super Cup.
In the third-place playoff game, Vivian Cudjoe and Mercy Attobrah were on the scoresheet for Hasaacas Ladies who finished as bronze medalists.
