Telecel Ghana has announced the extension of the rewarding More Money promo for two extra months to provide more opportunities for customers to win daily and weekly cash prizes.
Initially set to end in the first week of October, the extension to the 6th of December 2024 comes in response to the high level of enthusiasm from customers eager to take part in the cash rewards promotion for a chance to win GH¢100 daily, GH¢30,000 weekly and the grand prize of GH¢1,000,000 to become the Telecel millionaire.
"We realized the demand for more time to win in the promo was growing among customers, so we extended the timeline to give them the chance to win more cash rewards," said David Umoh, Director of Consumer Business at Telecel Ghana.
"We are excited to see customers benefit from the promo to enrich their lives and fulfil their aspirations. To make this extension even more exciting, we have increased the weekly winners to up to 4 for each week of the promo.”
Since its launch in early July, the Telecel More Money promo has generated significant interest, with thousands of Telecel customers winning daily and weekly cash prizes.
The decision to extend the campaign reflects Telecel's commitment to boosting customer engagement and reward loyalty.
As of the end of September, over 11,000 Telecel customers have won a total of over GH¢1.9 million.

By the climax of the five-month Promo in December, a total of 18,500 Telecel customers would have won GH¢100 daily, 60 lucky customers would have grabbed GH¢30,000 each and the luckiest customer will walk away with a whooping GH¢1 million and be crowned the Telecel millionaire.
The More Money promo offers Telecel users the chance to win big cash prizes by simply topping up their airtime or data bundles.
All mobile, prepaid, fixed and business customers are eligible to participate and can join the promo by sending the keyword ‘WIN’ to 500 or dialling *500# to opt-in or activate it through the promo section of the Telecel Play App.
The Telecel More Money promo extension into December coincides with the holiday season, a time when many are looking for ways to boost their finances and celebrate with family and friends and the promo could make a meaningful difference during the festive period.
