Three Ghanaian para athletes, along with an official, are currently in South Korea for training as part of their preparation for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic qualification agenda.
The team includes para swimmers Promise Aheto and Bryan Akoto, para-badminton player Judith Adu, and media official Michael Obeng.
The contingent, which was escorted by Vice President of the Ghana Para Swimming Association Farida Iddriss to the Kotoka International Airport, departed on Sunday, November 3, and landed in the city of Incheon on Monday.

The training camp, organized by the Korea Paralympic Committee, aims to enhance the athletes’ skills through various programs, including activities in a specialized sports academy focused on para-badminton, swimming, and taekwondo.
The camp will also provide the team with opportunities to experience Korean culture and expand their networks.
The Korea Paralympic Committee is covering the full cost of the trip and all related activities. The team is set to return to Ghana on November 14, 2024
