The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has criticised the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration for what he describes as its failure to address pressing challenges facing Ghanaians.
He accused the government of prioritising catchy slogans over substantive measures to improve the lives of citizens.
In a Facebook post on 25th November, Mr Mahama expressed concern about the neglect of farmers, who he believes are pivotal to Ghana’s economic stability.
He stressed the struggles faced by agricultural workers, particularly the lack of adequate support and resources, which has hindered their productivity and growth.
The NDC flagbearer assured Ghanaians that under his leadership, farmers would receive the attention and assistance they deserve.
He pledged to implement policies aimed at empowering the agricultural sector and ensuring that farmers benefit from sustainable development initiatives when elected in the 2024 general elections.
Mr Mahama reiterated his commitment to prioritizing policies that directly address the challenges faced by ordinary Ghanaians, particularly those in under-served sectors such as agriculture.
“Over the last 8 years, this Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government has prioritized slogans over action. They have forgotten about our farmers. The NDC will deliver.”
