Winter signing Kwame Opoku continued his excellent form by hitting a brace for Asante Kotoko in their emphatic 4-1 victory over Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.
It took the Porcupine Warriors just the first half to wrap up the win and move to third place with 31 points on the league table.
Opoku needed just eight minutes to announce his presence in the match, heading Dauda Saaka’s perfect cross into the net.
Nana Kwesi leveled the score after the 20th-minute mark, but Peter Acquah's header in the 32nd minute restored Kotoko's advantage.
Opoku added his second five minutes later with a fine effort before Saaka put the icing on the cake just before half-time, sealing the Porcupines' biggest victory of the season.
Opoku, who could have completed a hat trick after rounding goalkeeper Franklin Yamoah but hit the side net, now has four goals in three Premier League matches.
Meanwhile, Vision FC sit 11th with 19 points, five points shy of relegation.
