Finance and Economics professor at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Godfred Bokpin has expressed concern over the lack of urgency by President Mahama in addressing critical national issues.
Speaking on The Super Morning Show on Joy Fm, Prof Bokpin stated that he wished President Mahama demonstrated some urgency that U.S. President Donald Trump exhibits when dealing with important matters.
He stressed, "i wish we had a bit of Donald Trump in our President".
Prof Bokpin also acknowledged President Mahama's efforts to address corruption but he said he was sceptical about the success of these initiatives.
He further remarked, " Ghana, we dey," suggesting that while progress will be made, the country’s political challenges and dynamics will continue to shape its future.
