Ghana's senior women's national team are set for a training tour in Senegal next month as part of their preparations for the upcoming Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Black Queens will enjoy a nine-day training tour in Senegal to continue their preparations for the delayed 2024 WAFCON.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the next plans for the team on Tuesday, March 4.
The April training tour in the FIFA window, will feature two international friendly matches against Senegal's Teranga Lionesses in Dakar.
Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren's side will face the Teranga Lionesses twice, with the matches scheduled to take place within a few days of each other.
This comes after their recent visit to Morocco where they played against the Atlas Lionesses in the Swede's first game.
The recent activities are all part of the preps for the continental showpiece in Morocco from July 5-26, 2025.
Björkegren will use this opportunity to assess and expand his pool of players ahead of the WAFCON.
