Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo says it's always 'an honour' to get called up to represent the national team.
According to him, he is privileged to play for Ghana, revealing that the only time he will fail to honor an invitation is when he is injured.
Semenyo was one of Ghana's goalscorers during the recent international break, scoring in the 5-0 win over Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Bournemouth starman has made 27 appearances for the Black Stars and says it's something he doesn't take for granted.
"It's an honour; I always want to be part of the national team," he told SuperSport. "I feel like the only thing that will ever stop me is obviously injury, of course, but I always try to make myself available.
"I always want to play for the nation. It's been a dream of mine from a young age, so anytime I get called up is an honour."
After his third goal across all competitions for Ghana, Semenyo will look to find his scoring boots once again for the Cherries when club football resumes this weekend, with Bournemouth facing Manchester City in the FA Cup.
