The Chief Executive Officer of Golden Kick FC, Joseph Epton, has issued a stern warning to Asante Kotoko to expect a unique ‘golden kick’ in the final of the MTN FA Cup.
The Division One League side beat Attram De Visser 3-1 last Saturday at the TNA Stadium to seal a place in the final of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup.
Before playing Attram De Visser in the semifinals, Golden Kick had eliminated Ghana Premier League sides, Karela United and Accra Hearts of Oak, en route to the last four stage.
The CEO of the Club, Epton, in an interview with Luv FM, said they are not scared of playing the final against Kotoko, especially when they beat clubs at the level of the Porcupine Warriors before reaching the final.

“The motivation of the boys is to win the cup, make a name and history for themselves. What motivation is more than making history and writing your name in the books of Ghana football?
“Kotoko is a good side we respect them, we know they have a good coach and players but Golden Kick is always unique when we play against the best and the best teams do not get their rhythm when they play against us so this is what they should expect from us,” he told Luv Sports.
The 2024/25 MTN FA Cup final between Kotoko and Golden Kick FC will be played on June 15 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
