Telecel Ghana has officially launched its latest customer loyalty campaign, the “Too Much Money” promo, aimed at rewarding thousands of subscribers with exciting cash prizes, including a grand prize of GHS 1.2 million.
The four-month campaign, which runs until September, is open to all Telecel customers. Participants need only recharge or purchase a data bundle worth at least GHS 5 to qualify. Speaking at the official launch in Accra, Aneth Muga, Acting Director of Consumer Business at Telecel Ghana, said the initiative is part of the company’s continued commitment to give back to its customers.
“We will have one grand winner who will walk away with 1.2 million cedis by September,” Muga said. “It's a four-month promo, and each week we’ll have six to eight winners taking home GHS 20,000 each. Daily, we will also reward 120 customers with GHS 100 to say thank you for simply using our services.”

The campaign, which is being run in partnership with Konim Global Ltd., is regulated by the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the draw process. Speaking at the event, Beryl Adom, Brands Manager at the NLA, emphasized the authority’s confidence in the integrity of the promotion.

“The ‘Too Much Money’ promo aligns well with our standards, and we are happy to partner with Konim Global Ltd. and Telecel Ghana to uphold the highest level of integrity during the campaign,” Adom said. “With a total cash giveaway of GHS 4.8 million, this initiative offers Ghanaians thousands of opportunities to win, from daily rewards to the grand prize.”
In a previous edition of the promo, Ellen Oparebea Akoi, a lucky Telecel customer, walked away with the grand prize of GHS 1 million, highlighting the real-life impact of such campaigns.

More than 10,000 Telecel users nationwide are expected to win prizes during the promo season. The initiative underscores Telecel’s ongoing effort to deepen customer engagement and reward loyalty in Ghana’s highly competitive telecom space.
