Accra Hearts of Oak has announced the formation of a ''recruitment Committee'' to oversee the club's squad rebuild ahead of the 2025/26 season.
In a statement released on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the club said the committee members will be ''drawn from the board, Management and technical team.''
''The committee has initiated a comprehensive evaluation process that includes assessing the current performances and potential recruits in line with the technical team's guidance.
The club said ''the recruitment strategy is driven by data analysis, focusing on enhancing key areas within the team.
Concurrently we are escalating the roles of current players to ensure alignment with the club's long-term objectives. Some of the players who do not make the cut, will let go.''
However, the management statement did not name the members of the recruitment committee.
Hearts will face Asante Kotoko on July 6, 2025 for the President's Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians finished fourth in the Ghana Premier League and suffered a round-of-16 exit in the MTN FA Cup, to end the 2024/25 campaign without a trophy.
